About the MWA
Our Mission Statement:
"The mission of the Missouri Waterfowl Association is to promote Missouri's waterfowling heritage through education, example, and advocacy for all waterfowl enthusiasts in order to conserve our waterfowl resources."
Our Vision Statement:
"Missouri will continue to be a premier water fowling state. Missouri Waterfowl Association will be the recognized leader in promoting our water fowling heritage through responsible stewardship of Missouri's resources."
Recognizing the need for an aggressive, but reasonable, collective of Missouri's Waterfowlers to organize and promote the ethical and conservation based hunting of waterfowl, the Missouri Waterfowl Association was developed to tackle the many complicated issues involved with waterfowl, waterfowling, and waterfowling heritage.
From it's inception, the Missouri Waterfowl Association will represent Missouri's waterfowl, waterfowlers, and waterfowling heritage to the best of it's ability. Committed board members are ready and willing to lead the Missouri Waterfowl Association in a direction that will benefit Missouri.
The Missouri Waterfowl Association is made up of a body of concerned and cooperative members. By becoming a member of the Missouri Waterfowl Association these member are pledging to the unwritten oath of representing the Missouri Waterfowl Association and Missouri's waterfowl, waterfowling, waterfowlers, and waterfowling heritage to the best of their ability. Those members will collectively be the voice of the Missouri Waterfowl Association and what it represents. Volunteering their time and energy those same members will make the Missouri Waterfowl Association a strong force in the legislation, conservation, and ethics of Missouri's waterfowl, waterfowling, and waterfowling heritage.
